DEYE SUN-50K-G04 grid-tied 3-phase inverter 50 kW

The DEYE SUN-50K-G04 is a powerful three-phase grid-tied inverter intended mainly for medium-sized commercial PV plants. Thanks to its 50 kW output power and the option of parallel connection, it is also suitable for larger installations.

The inverter has 4 independent MPP trackers and supports up to 12 strings in total (max. 3 strings per tracker). Each tracker handles an input current of 40 A and a short-circuit current of 60 A. The wide MPPT range of 200–1000 V allows flexible string design and the use of modern high-output panels.

Maximum DC input power reaches 65 kW and maximum AC output current is 75.8 A per phase. The inverter has a high maximum efficiency of 98.7%, which directly increases the yield of the PV system.

The SUN-50K-G04 supports zero-export applications and VSG (Virtual Synchronous Generator) mode for grid stabilisation. Smart string monitoring and an Anti-PID function to prevent cell degradation are optional. Type II DC/AC SPD protection is integrated.

For connection and management, RS-485, RS-232 and Wi-Fi interfaces are available (via a dongle). The Solarman smart monitoring platform allows remote shutdown, parameter setting and firmware updates, which greatly simplifies servicing and running the installation.

The rugged aluminium IP65-rated housing allows outdoor mounting across a wide temperature range of −25 °C to +60 °C. The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty.
