Batteries we needed ourselves.
We started with solar on our own house. It turned out that the most important part of the whole system is the battery — and a good, affordable battery was missing from the market. So we started building our own.
How we started
We have worked in information technology all our lives, professionally for more than twenty years. First as sole traders, then from 2014 through Axiumdata s.r.o.
We have been gaining experience with solar power systems since 2014, when Petr built the first plant. Right after installing it, he realised how important the battery is — it decides how much of the energy you generate you actually use — and that lead-acid batteries are not the right choice for solar. Good, affordable batteries were not available on the market, so in 2016 Petr built the first battery of our own. Since then we have come a long, hard way to the battery sets we make today.
So we have been working with solar since 2014, with our own batteries since 2016, and since 2023 under the BAKOM brand. We offer complete batteries for home solar, off-grid systems, motorhomes and as backup power.
What we do today
We build LiFePO₄ battery storage by hand, to order, in two workshops — in Svrčovec near Klatovy and in Krmelín near Ostrava. We measure every cell, set up every BMS for the customer's specific inverter and test each finished battery before dispatch.
Besides production, we help design the whole system: choosing the inverter, the recommended wiring and setting up communication between the battery and the inverter. We supply Deye hybrid inverters with our batteries and have developed our own BAKOM BMS app for monitoring batteries on your phone and for remote support.
On our YouTube channel we openly show how we build, test and wire our batteries. Many customers found us there.

- Honestly. If something doesn't make sense — undersized cables, an unsuitable inverter, a needlessly expensive solution — we tell you straight away.
- No deposits. We build and test the battery; you pay only before dispatch.
- Technical depth. Your questions are answered by people who build and wire the batteries themselves.
