BAKOM MAX 11 kW TWIN

A 11 kW single-phase off-grid inverter for 48V batteries. A single unit combines a pure sine wave inverter, an MPPT solar charge controller and a charger that runs from the grid or a generator. It does not export power to the grid, so you do not need to have it officially connected as a generating plant by the distribution network operator. When the grid is available, it can pass it straight through to the household wiring while charging the battery at the same time.

Two independent MPPT inputs for two panel strings, each up to 5,500 W and an open-circuit voltage of no more than 500 V. MPPT1 on its own handles 27 A; with both inputs in use, 20 A each.

Parallel operation: up to six inverters on one phase, or three to six inverters for three-phase loads (no more than four per phase). The batteries remain shared.

Batteries: it communicates with BAKOM batteries over the RS485 bus, and we set the battery BMS up for this inverter in our workshop. A single 16 kWh battery delivers no more than 8 kW continuously — for the full 11 kW, plan on two batteries.

Quiet modification: on request, we modify the inverter’s cooling so that it runs more quietly. The price of the modification will be stated in the quote.

Monitoring: via the built-in Wi-Fi in the WatchPower app, or locally without the cloud via Solar Assistant.
