DEYE SUN-8K hybrid 1-phase inverter 8 kW (generation 6, LV)

The DEYE SUN-8K-SG06LP1-EU-BM3 is a generation 6 single-phase hybrid inverter with 8 kW output power for low-voltage battery systems of 40–60 V DC. It suits family houses and small businesses: it uses the energy produced in the house first, stores surpluses in the battery and powers backup circuits during a grid outage.

Three MPPT trackers (2+1+1 strings, 150–425 V, max. 500 V) accept up to 12.8 kW from the PV array. Input current 36 + 18 + 18 A.

It charges and discharges the battery at up to 185 A. It communicates with the BMS via CAN or RS-485 — we supply BAKOM batteries for this inverter with the Deye protocol already set.

Six time slots for charging and discharging, Smart Load output, grid peak shaving, charging from a diesel generator and switchover to backup mode within 4 ms. DC and AC coupling make it possible to add a battery to an existing PV system. AC pass-through current up to 65 A.

IP65 protection for outdoor wall mounting, operating temperature −40 to +60 °C, efficiency up to 97.6%. Dimensions 580 × 340 × 227 mm (H × W × D), weight 23.7 kg. Monitoring via Solarman, including remote settings and firmware updates.

Manufacturer's warranty of 5 + 5 years: the first five years cover all parts and labour, the next five years cover parts except the LCD and fan, without labour.
